I'm running for Clearlake City Council to restore our sense of community pride-- right now, not 20 years from now. If we all pull together, we can transform Clearlake into the bustling, beautiful, prosperous city it used to be, a joy for everyone who lives, works, and visits here, and for future generations too.

We can fulfill the Vision Task Force blueprint, eliminate blight, revitalize the Lakeshore Drive business district, combat nuisance algae, and work for the long term health of Clear Lake. I have the business experience, leadership capacity and tenacity to bring about these positive changes. For the past 15 years I have operated Girlfriends Salon on Lakeshore Drive, and my husband and I have restored our 1941 building to perfection, while raising our children here and continuing to raise a grandchild.

It's time to put my skills to work for the whole community, as I did by spearheading the June Grassroots Redevelopment Project that turned a decaying eyesore into a beautiful building.

Our city needs strong new leadership that will be responsive to the voice of the people and able to tackle the tough jobs before us. Please give me your vote so I can go to work for you.
